Information relating to acquisitions of own shares   ()

According to the Royal Decrees of October 8, 2008 and April 26, 2009, this section comprises the information relating to acquisitions of own shares by GBL or its subsidiaries, to be disclosed or notified to the CBFA as from July 1st, 2009.

At the latest on the seventh trading day after the transaction, this information must be disclosed and simultaneously notified to the CBFA.

Purchase of own shares - Portfolio   ()

The General Meeting of GBL on 14 April 2009 has authorised:

• the Board of Directors, during a period of 5 years from the date of the General Meeting approving this authorisation, to acquire on the Stock Exchange a maximum of 32,271,657 GBL’s shares at a unit price that may not be more than 10 % below the lowest price during the 12 months prior to the transaction and that may not be more than 10 % above the highest price of the last 20 quotations prior to the transaction; and
• to authorise the company’s subsidiaries, according to Article 627 of the Company Code, to acquire company’s shares under the same conditions.
